It is time for checking my year of 2007

　Actually tomorrow is the last day of 2007. I think time is too fast and like an arrow. For this reason, we should spend our time doing something important and precious. I agree with this phrase "We don't have enough time to love each others." The time that I spend writing a blog may be the most happy time of my life. Every time we should do my best on our working, because time never wait for us. As I check my 2007 years, I thank for my father GOD,parents,and friends on the other hand I regret some thing that I didn't do my best. Actually I tried to study hard, but I didn't spend my time working in the church. These days I realize that life isn't everything. It can't make me happy and satisfied. I'm sorry that I write the blog you are hard to understand. I think the reason I write strange blog is I didn't arrange my thinking. Anyway I recommend you to check your 2007 years. Are you satisfied with your works? I think it is a very important thing, because we could make a new plan and find out what the things we need are as we check our life style.

What is the meaning of real friends?

　Actually every one makes friends as they go to school, work place, and so on. As I read books, I could realize it isn't good just to go straight toward my dream. This is because even if I make my dream come true, I couldn't happy with my money, honor. So I decided to meet my friends who couldn't meet because of too many assignments.
As technology is developing, it was easy to connect to my friends. As I used computer or my cell phone, I connected with my friends, and these days I met much more friends than any other time. However it makes me think what real friend is. I don't know what real friend is. There are too much people who could tell a friend of me, but I think every one isn't good friend.

Actually these days I think I reach the age of puberty, because I want to know what life is, what real friend is, or what the way of relief is. Have you ever thought of this? I haven't found the answer yet. However in my opinion, it is better to have small friends who could share my heart frankly than to have much money who can't share my heart.

I want to be a person who is getting better than the first meeting, and I hope to meet good friends, and not to meet people who give just disappointment.

Treatment using reading books

　From now on, I am going to start studying treatment using reading books. Actually until now, many people tried to educate students suing reason and knowledge, or sensibility and heart. However this is the time for using any others. It could be reading books, music, and so on. Actually it is very epoch-making, because nobody could think of this method for education!

The biggest purpose of my life is to give good influence to others. Some people think to help other is easy, so they say if you have warm heart and you really love other who need some helps, you could help them. However I think it isn't true. To help others, I need to study much more than any others. If I don't have any skills, I can't help others efficiently. For this reason, to study various field is very important. To help students who need my helps, I want to use this skills. Maybe it could be a good measure for opening student's heart.

As I keep hard working, I want to learn it and give my knowledge and heart to others.

독서감상문- 뇌

뇌

　이책은 내가 중학교때 읽어보려고 시도했다가 포기했던 책이다. 모모를 다읽고 읽을 책이 없어서 책꽂이를 뒤지다 동생의 권유를 뇌를 읽기로 결정한 것이다. 이번엔 포기하지않고 읽을 수 있을까? 하는 두려움이 앞섰지만, 이책을 이해하는지 마는지에따라 내 이해력과 독서실력을 중학생때의 나와 가늠해 볼 수 있는 좋은 기회라고 생각하며 책장을 넘겼다.생각외로 너무나 재미있는 이 책때문에 상편을 다읽고, 하편을 기다리는내내 책에대한 궁금증에서 벗어날 수 없었다. 사실 이 책은 내가 읽은 책중에 가장 재미있고 흥미로운 책인것 같다.

　

이 이야기는 체스왕의 죽음과 그의 죽음의 원인을 조사하는 두 기자를 따라가면서 사람의 뇌와 사람을 자극하는 동기의 신비에 대해 알게 되는 재미있는 이야기이다. 이 책을 읽으면서 나는 이 세상 만물 중 가장 복잡하고 신비로운 것은 인간이라는 말에 동의하게되었다. 그리고 동기가 부여된 인간의 힘이란 엄청나다는 것을... 컴퓨터가 날로 발전하고 있는 이시대에서는 컴퓨터가 인간보다 어떠한 분야에서는 더욱 뛰어난 업무처리를 하고 있다. 하지만 아무리 뛰어난 컴퓨터라해도 인간을 능가할 수 없는 이유는 컴퓨터는 감정과 동기가 없다는 데에있다. 컴퓨터는 그 일을 함으로써 어떠한 성취감도 느낄 수 없으며, 어떠한 동기도 부여받지 않는다는 것이다. 하지만 인간은 각각의 모든일에 대한 동기를 가지고 일하며 또한 그 동기는 인간에게 엄청난 힘을 부여한다. 이책속에서 우리는 동기가 주는 힘이 얼마나 큰 지, 또한 그 동기의 다양성에 대해서 알 수 있게 된다. 또한 이 책은 인간에게 부여는 되는 동기로 인해 인간은 불과 도구를 발달해 냈다는 사실도 비춰주고 있다. 인간의 동기와 욕망은 점점 더 나은 세상을 빚어내게 된 힘이 었던 것이다. 하지만 우리가 기억해야할 것은 소설 속 결말처럼 지나친 욕망과 동기는 결국 화를 부르기 마련이라는 것이다. 적당한 동기부여와 인간의 욕망은 발전의 원동력이 되지만, 지나침은 늘 좋지 않은 것이다. 청소년상담가가 되고자 하는 내 꿈은 나의 원동력이다. 어떠한 결과를 나을 지는 알 수 없지만, 동기가 부여되기 이전보다는 훨씬 더 나은 결과를 나을 거라고 확신한다. 지금부터 컴퓨터가 인간을 절대 이길 수 없는 그 엄청난 힘으로 멋지게 내 인생을 그려 나가려 한다.

　

아 ... 정말 느낀 것을 말로 표현하는것 또 그것을 쓰는 일이란 정말 쉽지 않은 것 같다. 그런점에서 엄청난 스토리를 구성해내고 또 멋지게 표현해 내는 작가들은 정말 대단 한 것 같다. ㅜ_ㅜ

더 열심히 노력해서 멋진 감상문을 써내도록 노력해야겠다. 이렇게 멋진 이야기를 만들어낸 베르베르가 존경 스럽다!

Merry Christmas!

　Christmas is coming soon! As you know, it is very happy day, because before 2007 years, Jesus came to the earth to save us. I know some people don’t believe it, but most of the people like Christmas and happy with beautiful sights. Today, I did some performances to celebrate the birth day of Jesus. I am a teacher of elementary school students in my church, so I prepared special performances with my students. They were very cute! If I could take a picture, I wanted to take a picture and show you. However it was impossible to take a picture, because I was doing some performance with them. Actually I really want to explain how much cute my students are, and how did we do, but it is a really difficult thing. Anyway, do you have a plan for your Christmas? I always think I want to spend my Christmas doing something special. For this reason, I am sorry my Jesus because, even if it is his birthday I don’t care about it and I just think of my self. How to study education?

　My vision is to become a counselor who works in the school. To succeed in making my dream come true, I have to study education. Actually, for a year, I studied just English in the Global Program. For this reason, I didn't learn how to study my major. If you try studying you own major, you may be difficulties in studying it. It is different from studying method of high school students to study in the university, but we didn't learn the studying method of university students. I think we may be difficulties in studying our major and it is hard to receive good grades, because we don't have any information and knowledge of our major, and we don't know how to study it. I think it is really big problems, so I want to share this problem with you. How do you think of it? How should we cope with a difficult situation? When I open my book of education, I couldn't do anything.ㅜ_ㅜ How dose it your works? If you have a good idea, please recommend me to do something.

모모

　도서관에서 책을 고르다, "모모"라는 익숙하게 느껴지는 제목에 끌려 이 책을 고르게 되었다. 이책은 흥미로우면서도 기대이상의 것들을 깨닫게 해주었기에 꼭 추천 해 주고싶은 책이다.

대부분의 현대인은 생각할 겨를 조차 없는 바쁜 일상속에 갖혀있다. 늘 무엇이 그렇게 바쁜지 다른사람을 배려할 시간도, 관심을 가질 시간 조차 없는 것이다. 또한 대부분의 사람들은 한가지의 목표를 향해, 그 끝을 모른채 달려가고 있다. 나역시 늘 그런한 생활 속에서 참 행복이 무엇인가에 관한 생각을 하곤 했다. 목표를 이루기 위해선 매순간 순간의 인내가 필요한 것이다. 나는 그것이 행복이라기보다는 너무나 쓰고 힘든 과정이라고 생각한다. 한순간의 짧은 행복을 위해 아주 긴 시간동안 인내해야하는 것을 과연 참된 행복이라고 할 수 있을까? 뿐만 아니라, 한가지 목표를 이루었을때에는 또 다음 목표가 따르는 법이다. 예를 들면, 고등학생의 목표는 좋은 대학에 진학하는 것, 대학생의 목표는 좋은 회사에 취직하는것, 직장인의 목표는 승진, 돈을 버는 것 또는 결혼이 될것이다. 또한 결혼을 한 부부는 아이의 교육이나 집, 차 마련을 목표로 삼을 것이다. 그렇다면 우리는 언제 진정한 휴식을 취할 수 있을까? 언제 다른사람을 향해 눈을 돌릴 수 있을 것이며, 언제 진정한 친구를 만들 수 있을까?

모모의 이야기는 한 소녀와 시간에 관련된 이야기이다. 책 속에는 회색신사들이라 의인화된 시간도둑이 등장한다. 평화로운 사람들의 삶에 회색신사들이 나타남으로써 모두들 무의미한 바쁜 일상에 빠져 행복을 잃게 되는 것이다. 목표를 이루고 난 후에는 행복할 줄로만 알았지만, 목표를 이뤘음에도 행복을 느끼지 못하게 된다. 이 책은 읽기 쉬운 동화처럼 느껴지지만, 우리에게 시간의 비밀과 삶의 비밀을 가르쳐 주고있다.

참된 행복은 목표를 향해 앞만 보고 달려가는 데에 있지 않다는 것이다. 이 책은 가끔은 뒤를 돌아보고 또 주위를 돌아보면서 한걸음씩 내딛는 것이 참된 행복인 것이라고 말한다. 앞만보고 달려가는 일은 성공을 위한 과정일 수 있지만, 그 과정속에서 친구를 잃거나 사랑하는 사람을 잃을 수 있다. 성공을 했을때 정말 행복하다면, 그러한 과정은 치뤄야할 대가가 될 수도 있지만, 자신의 목표를 모두 이루었을 때에도 행복이 아닌 공허함을 느끼기 일쑤인 것이다. 과연 시간관리는 참된 행복과 성공을 위한 중요한 열쇠이다. 시간을 잘 관리하면, 우리는 무관심과 냉기속을 달리지 않아도 된다. 문제는 우리가 회색신사들에게 속아서 우리의 행복을 잃고있는데에 있다. 우리가 가진 시간은 다른사람을 돌아보고, 배려하기에 또 정말 좋은 친구를 만들기에 충분한 시간이지만, 안타깝게도 대부분의 사람들은 늘 바쁜 일상에 쫓기고 있다. 그러므로 우리는 참된 행복을 위해 시간에 쫓기는 삶에서 벗어나 시간을 다스리는 삶을 살아야 할 것 이다.

사실, 나의 가장 큰 단점은 시간약속에 충실하지 못한 것이다. 학점에서 항상 마이너스 포인트는 "late" 즉, 지각에 있었고, 이것은 신뢰를 잃게 하며, 무능력한 이미지를 남기게 했다. 하지만 나는 이번 방학동안 시간을 다스리는 연습을 할 계획이다. 시간관리를 위해 공부와 또 나의 인간관계를 위한 투자를 적절히 배분하고, 하루하루 나의 생활을 점검할 예정이다. 시간의 비밀을 안 이상, 더이상 바보처럼 시간에 쫓기기는 정말이지 싫다. 앞으로는 매시간 시간, 현명한 시간 관리자가 되어서 참된 행복을 누리며 살고싶다.

　I have wanted to finish Global Program, tough progress, and I thought if it is finished, I could be happy and smile. Now I finished my tough train, but I want to return to my class and I miss the time with my 46 good friends, and good professors. Actually every day I have met my friends, who overcome tough assignments with me and helped each other, but now I can't meet them easily. I know if I meet some people, I have to part with them. It is a rule, so nobody can change it. In spite of the rule, it is very hard for me to part with my friends. I have already missed the time with my friends and my professors.

Not only that, as Global Program is finished, it is much harder than before to manage my time. I should keep studying for my future, but I am so lazy, I like to play with my friends and I want to sleep for a long time. Because of this reason, even if it is a vacation, it doesn't give me just happy. I think everything is up to me if I succeed to spend my time efficiently. I am going to learn how to manage myself and my time, as I remember my tough train in Spartan, Global Program.

Maybe I will never forget my memories in Global Program. Although it was really tiring and not easy, I think it was a really good opportunity, experience and memory to me.

　 Many people want to be rich, and I also want to have a lot of money. Actually it's important than how much money can I make, but there are other important consideration, equally. This is because if you disregard for it, you could be frustrated and regret it. Not only that but it is also the power for making a success, or much money. If you are interested in something, you many work diligently without even realizing your tiredness, and you may succeed in your work. I think the most important thing is happiness, which can only be found in doing work. When you enjoy your work, promotion, or an increased in salary may follow you. Actually the happiness is not just for compensation, and it’s from enjoying the work. Because of this, in the winter vacation I am going to consider my major and my dream to decide the way of my life.

The reason I chose this article is I concern about the Korean education system, because it is closely related with the future of Korea, and I think there are a lot of problems in the Korean education system. It may be the result of the efforts and pains, but we should find out if the income and duration of education, many students try to study for a long time. Then our capable men will be more order, and it makes us miss good health, youth, and intelligence of our capable men. The arrogance of American

These days the diversity of language is increased, and it is really important, so many countries try to learn diverse languages. Actually United States is the developed country, but it is an underdeveloped country in the language skills. Immigrants are bringing their own languages at record rates, but many native born Americans don't try learning new languages. They just carry stubbornly monolingual, as they ignore other languages and cultures. I think it carries their confidence too far. Actually it is easy to find a haughty attitude in many kinds of movies and their effort to implement their ideas. For this reason, their ideas are already rooted in the world, but I think now they need to learn other languages and culture to be a developing country in the language skills. This situation makes me think of arrogance, which really gives bad influence to us, as it makes us stop our growth. We should be careful not to be arrogance!

The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence

　Sometimes I envy others for their good situations. Actually it is irony to image that the life of others is an ideal, because it is easy to see the life of others. Until now, I just looked at positive things and I didn't find out negative things, which are hided in the positive things, Now, I realize everyone has some problems, even if someone sees to really be happy. It means someone who appears better off than me, actually has different kinds of challenges. Here is an idiom, which express well this meaning. "The grass is always greener on the other side of the fence."
I think I need to trust and love myself, if I love myself I could be satisfied with my life, and maybe I don't need to envy the life of others.

How to clean your house after a party

　Cleaning your house after a party is not fun, but it's easier if you do it step by step. First, pick up all trashes on the floor, coffee table, or sofa, and put them in a trash basket. (They could be a tape, a can of soda, some snacks, a balloon, the pizza box, the birth day cap and so on.) Especially, I recommend you to break the balloon using a pin, and recycle some trashed like a can of soda. Next, put the telephone on the coffee table correctly, and bring the cushion of sofa correctly. After that, clean the floor using vacuum cleaner and floor cloth, and roll the rug on the floor. Then stand the chair up, correctly. You should pick up sock and muffler, and wash them. Next, hang the picture, book shelf, and cuckoo clock to right on the errors, and then arrange books on the book shelf, and get shoe down. It should be put into the shoe chest. Finally, straighten crooked lamp shade, and take a rest in your clean house.

　This story is about a cargo train service from South Korean’s Munsan to Bongdong in North Korea. It will be operated daily from DEC 11, except on weekends. The reason I chose this article is I think it’s a good s tart of unification between two Koreas, North Korea, and South Korea. Actually, there are a lot of loses and pains because of our division, so it’s our duty to unify the Korea peninsula. One of benefits of the unification is the transportation. If we railway in the North Korea, we would travel Europe without taking a plane. We could save much money as our railway. I think it is the start of making a railway, and making benefits. I hope this railway to transport not only a cargo, but also our heart and culture. To make much more benefits from this railway, we should exchange our heart and culture, because it is necessary to unify of the Korea peninsula. In this point, two Korea celebrate the start of the regular service at Panmun station on Dec.11. together is really good news for me. Now I am looking forward the bright future of unified Korea.

I'm 20 years old !

　I'm 20 years old. Actually it is the age which I have dreamed, and I really have wanted to become a freshman. This is because I thought if I become a freshman, I'll be really beautiful, smart and happy with my life. I thought maybe my birthday will be the special party for me, but it was just my imagination! These days I am not different from my life of high school third grade. I still suffer from a burden and stress of study, which looks like a ending, if I graduate high school. Contrary to my expectations, I have a lot of the source of trouble. For example, my test and assignments are a really heavy burden on me, because it is going to decide if I'll win a scholarship, and get a jog. I have a lot of things to do, and I have a heavy responsibility to do that. I should choose my major and what kind of job do I want to do. It's really difficult to decide the way of my life. I should be careful, and concentrate on my ability, interests, and my sense of value. Anyway, it is very hard to be successful in fulfilling my duty, but I love my youth, and I want to try to do everything which I could do in my youth, and enjoy my passion of youth. 　This story is about the college entrance examination in Korea. About 600,000 students took the exam yesterday, and many Korean focus on the exam. To reduce traffic for exam, public workers attended their office one hour later then usual, and to prevent noise for exam, the military stopped fight operations and shooting drills. The reason I chose this article is it is very important in Korea. There are surprising customs of Korean connected with the exam. High school students don;t have the time for playing, and even if many teachers say high school third graders don;t have the qualification for sore. This is because they should study hard to take the college entrance exam, and make a good result. Actually last year, I took the exam. When I was a high school student, I was really afraid of failure of the exam, because I thought if I fail in the exam, maybe my life will be failed. It was really a burden on me and my friends, so some of students decide to suicide. I think it's really wrong, so I want to be a counselor for students who suffer from their stress. Actually the college entrance examination has a lot of problems. For example, it values highly the result. This is, even though I studied very hard and my ability is outstanding, if I fail in the examination, I can't enter the distinguished college. Anyway, I think the Education Ministry should look for a good system to test fairly. Finally, I want to tell the students who took the exam that congratulate on their freedom from a burden of the examination.

Joys And Sorrows Of Life

　Every morning, when I go to school I always take a subway. I think there are some interesting things in the subway. I can see very variety people, because each person has special individuality. May be I am one of them. Some people are reading books or newspaper, some people just sleep, some people listen to music, some people talk with their cell phone, and some people talk with their friends. Although we was doing different things, but every one looks like very tiered and lost their happy because of their routine. It reminds me of a poem. when I was a high school student, I learned the poem. Its subject is bus, and it told us when writer take a bus, he could find joys and sorrows of citizens. It's so similar with my feeling that I feel in the subway. We have very different features, but every one has similar goal of life and we live very busy to accomplish our object. I think our joys and sorrows of life are impressed on the seats.

Speech Contest

　Last semester, I participated in Dongseo Speech Contest, but this semester I lost my opportunity. Actually when I had to decide to submit my script, I couldn't make a decision easily. First of all, I lost my confidence, so it was not easy to open my mouth and speak in public. Secondly, last semester nobody in Global Program were awarded in Dongseo Speech Contest, but it doesn't matter, because the reason I tried to participate is just to get a good opportunity. That is, I am not proud of myself in speaking English, because of my strange pronunciation, but I decide to try to participate in that, and overcome my week point. Regrettably, I wasn't able to meet my deadline for submitting my script.

I was very stupid and everything was my fault, so I can't blame anyone. I think to be successful I should take my opportunity or my good idea. If I hesitate at making a decision, it makes me miss my good opportunity. Anyway, I think although I wasn't able to participate in Dongseo Global Program, I could learn very important point. From now on, I'll never miss my good opportunity, even if I am not smart or don't have special ability, because failure is a stepping stone to success.

How to make a pizza

　Prepare dough, pizza cheese, black olives, peeled shrimps, sliced bacon, mashed sweet potato, pepperoni, cut onion, cut green pepper, tomato paste, some oil, a poke, a tongs, a rolling pin, and a tray. First, sprinkle a pinch of flour to the table, and put the dough on the table. Next, roll the dough as using a rolling pin to make a circle shape about 1.5 cm thick. After pour a little oil on the tray, and spread it evenly to the edge of the tray with your fingers. Afterwards, fold edge of the dough over, and push it down at its edge. For better taste, punch the dough with a poke. For topping, firstly spread tomato paste on the dough and cover it with a little cheese. Next, put a hand for pepperoni, bacon, green pepper respectively and a pinch of onion on the dough one by one. Then, put a hand for peeled shrimps and a pinch of black olives evenly. Afterwards, turn a spinning wheel with mashed sweet potato and cover the dough with a little cheese again except for the part of mashed potato and folded part. When you think that is enough, pick the tray with the tongs, put it into the oven, and bake it about 15 to 20 minutes. When it finishes, take it out and enjoy the delicious pizza.

　This story is about new banknotes of Korea. In the keen competition, the Bank of Korea picked up Kim Koo(1876-1949) who was the independence leader and Shin Saim-dang(1506-1551) who was a renowned female writer and calligraphist during the Joseon Dynasty. The reason I chose this article is I wondered why Korea's central bank chose Kim Gu and Sin Saimdang, and I was very interested in debating about banknotes. According to survey, many people think KimKoo is enough to be portrayed on the new high denomination bills, but many people think Shin Saim-dang is not. I think it was a good choice! Kim Gu is the person who is respectable, because of his patriotic sentiment as a patriot, and his efforts to make a peace in Korea. Actually I have thought if he wasn't killed, our history may be changed. Anyway, we should respect his patriotic sentiment, and do our best as we are proud of Korea. Not only that, Shin Saim-dang is also the person who is respectable as a good example of woman. Actually when it was Joseon Dynasty, there were no women who were able to work or study. That is, the right of women was terrible, so it is very hard to find a good example of woman. However, she is enough to be respected as a good woman. For example, these days many women don't like housework, but she reminds us of the importance of family and good mother, and her good works like some poems and paints. Anyway, this debating makes me think about their good works.

My precious things...

　I think I have been very stupid, because when I had something serious, I didn't know how much it is precious. Foolish enough I lost my jewel, and then I realized its value.

I know the more I love someone, the more should I treat well, but I was repeating my bad habits. The more I love someone, the more got I angry. I have decided to appreciate my precious person, and show my love to my lovely people. Actually it looks like a very easy thing, but it was very hard to practice in busy days and my terrible stresses.

Today I want to tell him how much I love you and how much I am sorry to you, because I don't want to lose my precious person. Especially these days I have complained of my stress and tiring schedule to my lovely person, even if it isn't his fault. "I am really sorry to be angry and irritate you, but I appreciate your patience and your love which last until now. If you are not next to me, maybe I fail to manage myself and keep studying. Because of you, I could smile and never give up. Even if I was a bad girl, you still love me, so I don't know how to express my thanks to you."

Life looks a very long time, but it is not long and not enough to give my love, because time flies like an arrow. I think we should show our love to our lovely people. It could be our family, our best friends, and so on. I recommend you to express your love to the people that you really love, but didn't express your love.

The skill of fighting

　I think everyday we are fighting something. I could be something unpleasant or pleasant. If you fight something unpleasant, maybe you try in a determined way to prevent it, or stop it happening. Otherwise, if you fight something pleasant, you try in a determined way to get it or achieve it. These days I have fighted for winning in my war.

For example, everyday I am fighting with myself to finish my assignments. To achieve good grade to finish my assignments is very basic, but I should be patient,manage my self and my time. Actually I really like to sleep, but sometimes I should stay up to keep studying. I think it is the first case of my fighting.

Another fighting isn't to manage myself, but It is fighting with other people to stop something which I don't like to happen. I think to win in the war I should be wise and deal with problems quietly. Well, to fight with the strong, how should I do? I think the answer is just to do my best, then I should be a better person than my enemy. If I don't have enough power to win, or I am very weak, I shouldn't attact my enemy, and I should wait until I'll be better than my enemy. I think it is the wisdom of life. The key of the vitory is to be a good and powerful person, and to be powerful, I should keep working. It isn't to be a backbiter as I blame my enemy.

Extend The Deployment Of 1200 Troops in Iraq

　According to Korea Herald, Korea plans to decide if we extend the deployment of its 1200 troops in Iraq. These days I'm interested in this debating ,because there are serious debating in Korea, so when I read newspaper, it is repeated. Actually I can't help being interested in troops. I think we should dispatch troops to Iraq. This is because first, it isn't just support U.S.A, and Korea help the world recover a peace. When it was 6.25 war, many countries helped us stop the war. We should remember their help. Second, it is related with our economic situation. As you know, even if Korea ranked as a powerful nation, but unfortunately it is based on U.S.A. If U.S.A. don't support our country, we can't maintain our economic power,and it raises serious problems. Third, our military men could be our diplomatic officials, so it gives good image of Korea to Iraqis. Maybe the extension could get benefits by zaytun troops. We should be wise, and think about what a better choice is. Not only that, but it is our duty as a part of the world. The dispatch of troops isn't for the war, and it is to help to make a peace of the world, so we should conduct as considering our international phase!

Happy Hour

　 Every second week on Thursday, Global Program hold the Happy Hour which makes interchange students and Global students in Dongseo University meet each others and share some snacks. I think this is a good opportunity to make good friends and practice my conversation using English. Once I finished chapel, I went to the place to prepare 'Happy Hour' because the Happy Hour was held under the sponsorship of Global Program. First of all, I blew up balloons to decorate the place. Then, I prepared snacks to be easy to eat. Time flied like an arrow, but I worried if interchange students don't come here. Even my worry, a lot of students come be Happy Hour to enjoy our party. I met Malaysians, Finland, Indians, Chinese and so on. I'm happy to meet new friends and practice my English skill. I think although we use different language, but understand each other's heart. I made a new e-pal friend, so we promised to e-mail and share our life.

　This story is about encouraging to start a revolution. It means we should make deep-seated changes in our habits to prepare the effects of Global warming and climate change. In detail, a writer encourages Dongseo University students to walk up and down Dongseo's mountain. The reason I chose this article is this is the article of Professor John, and he encouraged me to read this article. Maybe to walk up and down Dongseo's mountain is good for not only our health, but our environment. In my opinion, actually as if "theory is one thing, practice is another" it's very hard to practice in our lives, but we should do it. This is because if we walk up Dongseo's mountain, whee should have a time management skill, and get up early. It'll make our lives more regular and healthy. One of the prominent feature of modern Korean is even if they heard about serious problem like a climate change, they don't take an action. It's very big problem! We should become conscious of environment problem and our life style. If we don't practice, we can't gain anything. From now on, I'm going to change my habit and achieve a good environment, health, and good life style.

What is a good teacher?

　Teacher is a person who gives instruction and teaches a study, but the good teachers should love their students and should be a model to students. Of course to teach something and to make someone understand something is very hard, but I think the reason to become a teacher is really hard is that one should show their love and good example of life. When I worked at my part-time Job, I have taught English to middle school students. It was a very hard work, because model to students. I'm not sure am I a good teacher to students, but I'm sure although I didn't have a good abilities to teach English, I did my best to be a good teacher. I made efforts to make my students like studying English and never give up their study. Of course, it isn't easy! I should study at my job to teach English students who need my help. Actually, what I want to say is I think my professor Jung isn't good to me. I know he always tries to make us be a really good students and global leader, so he always pushes up us to study. Although his real purpose of pushing up is to help us. I'm hurt by his class. Now I lose my confidence, so I'm not good at talk about my opinion using English in front of many people. Before I lose my confidence, I didn't worry about that. I think he made me as a idiot. Of course I admit his passion about teaching English and helping us to be a good person, but I think he makes a mistake about choosing the teaching way. I hope him to be a good professor and I recover my confidence. To recover my confidence, I decide to participate in Dongseo Speech Contest! Although I'm not good at speeching and my pronunciation isn't clear, I'll try to recover my confidence. I don't want to win a prize, but I really want to recover my confidence, and don't be afraid of making mistake and standing in front of many people.

Slave

　According to dictionary, a salve indicates someone as a slave when they are completely under the control of another person or of a powerful influence. More specific, it is is someone who is the property of another person and has to work for that person.Actually Abraham Lincoln emancipated slaves, but I think these days slaves still exist. What I mean, most of the peoples are slaves for something like money. They don't have their life purpose, and they are completely under the control of something. For example, money isn't everything, it isn't more precious than ourselves,and we don't have to have much money to be happy, but most of the peoples including me really like much money and they try to just make a money. It raises many people concentrate on result, because if result isn't good, they can't get compensation like some money. It is not good ! Actually I think so far, the reason I study was to receive scholarship, so it makes me concentrate on my exam result and if it isn't good, I was very stressful and frustrated. It is very wrong, not only it can't lead a good result, but also it can't give me the power of study. I should study for my future, and my life purpose isn't just to make much money. I don't want to be a slave for money, and I am not a slave. From now on, I should always remember what is my purpose of life and study.

Voluntary Activity

　Every second week, I went to Young Keum Old Men Sanatorium to help old men. Actually I was very stressful for my assignments and exams and very tired, but I should go there, because I had responsibility for the fulfilment of obligations. On arriving, I had to arrange trashes and clean the beds and windows. Then I helped old men participate in their religious activity. This was the first time I met old men who live second floor, so I didn't know who is in pain or where is the their pain. Because of this reason I made some mistakes. Some old women want to stay with me, and others said to me, "Please take me away. I am alone. Please." It wrings my heart to see them, They looks unhappy and suffers from loneliness. It teaches me how much precious youth is. Actually I envied them, because they looks comfortable. I thought they don;t have to study, work, or clean and they just take a rest, but maybe it didn't give them happy. Hard study is what I can do because of my youth and health. If I don't have youth or health, I can't do any study, so I should thanks for my youth and health. From now on I'll do everything which I can do because of my youth and health. Today, my good experience gives me good instructions.

Midterm Exam

　I had my midterm exam. I have thought I tried to do my best, but my grades are not enough to compensate my efforts. Actually I didn't know exactly about exam-results,but I am worried about that.I think sometimes the grade is unfair, because even if I did my best and tried and tried, if I make many mistakes in the exam, nobody can't admit my efforts. I'm worried that I won't be able to take good result and the scholarship, but I think it teaches me how to live the society. It is competitive society,so I should fight with myself and my competitors!
I can't stop and be frustrated, but I should keep my work and do my best. No Pain, No Gain!

The reason I chose this article is I want to be a teacher, so I am interested in education. I think education is a very important thing, because strength of a country greatly depends on education, so it's up to our future. I think to make a education revolution, we should practice, and not just finish as a conference. First of all, Education opportunity should be equal! I think education is the right of people, so as a person we should have a basic education. Actually we need a lot of money to study. I think it's not good, because it raises problems of the rich-get-richer, but the poorer-get-poorer. It is wrong, because it isn't equal to poor people. When I was a high school student, I thought if I'll be a rich, I'll give scholarship to students who have abilities, but can't study because of money problems. Strong Pride

　I have a strong pride. If I have a confidence about something, I don't want to lose in the fight. I don't know exactly strong pride is good or bad. Sometimes it becomes my power to help me work more hard, but sometimes it gives me hurt and marrow heart. It makes me hate someone. I think having too strong pride isn't good for me. Even if someone who isn't better than me teaches me something. I should try to learn from everyone. Actually every people have different strong points, so there is nobody who isn't better than me. Maybe having too Strong pride makes me arrogant. I think a humble attitude is better than arrogance, having proper confidence and responsibility is much better. The reason I chose this article is when I was a high school student, I learned French, so this word "France" is attractive to me. Not only that reason, this title is so surprising, because I've never imagined about divorcing of president. Actually, these days many people have taken steps toward separation. I think it is not good situation, but of course I don't want to ban divorce. If my husband is a alcoholics or violent person, I can't live together, but many people decide to get a divorce very easily. It is wrong! We should be responsible for our decision. Moreover, in this case Nicolas Sarkozy is the President of France, so he should set a good example and be responsible for his decision and action. Of course, a president's divorce would be a "purely private procedure ... between two private people," but it isn't just private thing. I think he should remember he is the President of France.

　The reason euthanasia should be banned is it could raise many problems. As you know, even if to commit murder is prohibited, many people still kill others. They know if they commit murder, they should be punished severely, but they do. If we admit to do euthanasia, we can't solve many problems. There are a lot of problems which is raised by euthanize. It is possible some people euthanize their family members to receive insurance money. Maybe this example of crime is so terrible, but it could happen.
　
Some people say suffering is very serious, and they can't be patient about their suffering, but we should think of our society. Of course, each person have a right to pursuit of happiness, and the rights of the individual are the most important rights in a free society, but our right to pursuit of happiness couldn't attach great importance to that of life and health. I think some people who agree to euthanize don't have a wider view of the world. If we look at our society and think about problems, we should ban this system.

　Do you know what is the euthanasia ? According to Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia, euthanasia is the practice of ending the life of a human or animal who is incurably ill in a painless or minimally painful way, for the purpose of limiting suffering. Actually There is a controversy on this subject. What do you think of this system? I disagree with this system! It is wrong, it leads many serious problems, and it is same with suicide and homicide. Even if someone who suffer from serious diseases decide to be free from their pain, it is not good. I can't understand why many people chose this system to solve suffering of people. to die is better than to keep your life? I think these days many people make light of human life. It is not desirable for taking light of human life. We should respect human life, because it is more precious than money or any other things. The relations are reversed! We should think about how much precious our lives. I think euthanasia is just an infringement upon personal rights.

Lovely Dog

　In my family, there are five. Father, mother, younger sister, me, and my lovely dog. we call our dog SoonJong. It means you should be a good dog which obey your father. she has lived with our family since I was a middle school student. Actually my father didn't like to take care a dog in my house, but now he really like to my dog. She is so attractiveness. Every day I come home, she always rejoice as she wags her tail. It looks so lovely and cute. It is the key that she is loved by my family. I learned from her greetings how much important greeting is. When I meet someone, I should greet as I smile. Maybe it'll make others happy with my good greeting. These days many people don't greet, and don't think of other people. It is called as an individualism. 　This is story about Korea will be declared as having abolished the death penalty practice and held a ceremony in Seoul yesterday to mark the fourth World Day Against the Death Penalty.

I chose this article because first of all I am attracted by picture of this article and it reminded me of Korean film "The Time Which we are happy." It was a sad movie for me when a hero in this movie was died by death penalty, although he was changed as a good person. Of course, when someone killed others, or committed serious crimes, someone had to be punished, but I think even if he committed vicious crimes, to give the death penalty isn't good. Why do you want to take vengeance? Even if you kill criminal, or criminal is punished by death penalty, that serious problem won't be disappear. What do you think of my idea? they absolutely pay the price for killing someone, but we should respect criminal's personality, and how about give the opportunity that let criminals reflect on their conduct? I think it is good starting to be more peaceful Korea, but we should be careful! we should forgive them,but remember that, and prevent serious crimes.

Chinese actress undergo a plastic operation !

　As you know, these days many people want to be beautiful, so they decide to undergo a plastic operation. A Chinese actress do that like Song Hae Kyo who is a Korean actress. Here is pictures which shows you what happen to her. First picture is the original face of Chinese actress and second of that is after she undergo plastic surgery. It is so similar to Song Hae Kyo. When I saw these picture, I was really surprised. This is because I thought the doctor who perform an operation is very great. His skill is very surprising! Even if Song Hae Kyo doesn't have special points, he produced a good result. Secondly, I thought if she don't have a plastic surgery, she is more beautiful and attraction. Even if she thinks she become more beautiful, she loses her individuality. Most of the people think she don't have a confidence about her face, and her life is just life of imitation. I am worry many people lose their individuality result from plastic operation.

When can we happy?

　Actually when I was a high school student,I really wanted to be a university, because studying was a very difficult job, and the College Scholastic Ability Test was a burden to me. I groaned under a heavy burden, so I really want to be free from my burden. Even if I become a university student, I should study very hard, and have many assignments. Not only that, but I take the responsibility for my action. Now I think it is better than now to have been a high school student. if we always complain of our life, when can we become happy? I think to be happy we should be thankful for the present existing situation, even if it is very hard to overcome. Many people think when they are young, they really want to be adults, and if they are to be adults, they will be happy, and when they are adults, they think when they were children, they were happy.it is better than now to have been children.I think life isn't long, so it isn't enough to be happy, love, thankful for others. What I want to say is to let's live our life more precious!

Importance of studying

　To study is very important, because it's up to the future of me, Korea, and the world, and if I don't study I can't know how to be patient, and how to understand others. Even if I just concentrate on studying English, it teaches me more than English. As you know,. when you study or live your life you should fight yourself and many blocks. I think if I can't control and win myself, I can't be successful in my life. Because of this reason I think people should study. Many students don't know the reason
why they are studying. They just study, because most of the people study, or get a job. It is a matter of regret! If students don't have their goal, it is easy to give up and be tired. My goal of studying is to be a influential
person. It means I want to have a strong power to help others who are in difficulties. To have an influencing power, I always try to do my best. Since you live a life, you should study! It teaches you very important points to live more wiser.

Happy Day

　Last summer vacation, I worked at my part time job, Green mong, sushi turning buffet located in Kyung Sung University town. I had to quit that, because I should concentrate on my study. When I quited the job, I was sorry to part from my colleagues. Anyway, I went to the Green mong with my friends, Nicola, Anna, Ally, and July to eat delicious food. I was able to meet my colleagues and glad to meet them again. They make me welcome and happy. They were the same good,kind, and friendly colleagues, even if I can't stay with them. They made special sushi and fried shrimps for us. They were very delicious and full of their love, so I was thankful to them. Today's meeting reminds of my thinking about meeting in my time. I am to meet many people in my life. I think meeting is very important. In the Korean proverb, there is a good example which shows us how much important to meet is. This is a man is known by the company he keeps. My parents always say to me you should keep good company and be a good friend, because it affects the living of me. Am I a good friend? What Kind of people is a good company? I think real good company is who can help and encourage each other to meet with good results. When I am in trouble, my real friends help me out of my difficulties, and when I am successful, my real friends congratulate me on my success from their heart. Korean proverb says a friend in need is a friend in deed. I want to be a good friend and keep good companies. Anyway, today I really thank for their love and good treatment. I think the people who meet with me when I worked at my part-time job are my good colleagues and my part-time job gave me not only money and good experience but also good colleagues.

The reason I chose this article is first of all, my

major is social welfare, so I am interested in this

field. I always have thought the government should

up welfare budget. Many people have complained

about tax, because they can't derive any benefits.

You know what, these day many people call this age

the aging society. Actually it;s serious problem!

The government prepare to overcome this problem.

I think they should help those who need help, but I

think it's not just food or money. The government

help them to be able to stand up themselves. For-

example, it give them work. It's real good

distribution! Any way, I think it's good starting to

be a country to give people a happy life.

I dont' know what should I do

　Actually, these day I have suffered from my

future. I think I'm not good at counseling and

helping others, but my major is social welfare.

I think it's very big problem. Of course in every

work fitness for the work is important, but I think

in helping others that is more important than any

others. This is because if I don't like to help others

and love them. I'll draw blood. I don't want to do

that. I don't know what to do. If I finish the Global

Program I should return to my major, social welfare.

Should I keep my major? To decide the way is

always difficult, because we should take respon-

sibility according to my selection. In our lives,

to make a good choice is very important. Anyway,

I am going to keep thinking about my future to make

a good choice.

Importance of health

　Do you know that how much important is health?

Recently, it is getting cold, so I have been suffer

from cold. I have a lot of assignments to do, but it's

so hard to me, because I should overcome not only

lazy, but also my disease. It makes me know

importance of health. If you feel pain, you can't do

what you want to do, or when I enjoyed good health.

I though I didn't have to exercise, but now I think we

should exercise to keep our health. If you really want

to be successful, it's basic of success. To do what

you want, you should be good for your health. From

now on, I am going to try to maintain my health.

Recollection is so beautiful

Although it was so difficult and hard to overcome after time pass when I

　

think about that, it makes me smile. I lived in Young Do which has beautiful

　

beaches and mountains, so it was so good to live. I went to elementary

　

school and middle school in Young Do , so there are lots of beautiful

　

memory there. Last weekend, I went to there to meet my friends. I was so

　

happy. Of course this is because I met my friends and had a good time.

　

Not only that, but when I walked around there, it reminds me of incident in

　Third, I respect his influencing power. I always want to be influencing

person. It means my talent isn't just for me, so I want to use that and help

other people to be happy. His life was like that. When he became the

influencing power for others, although it isn't easy to do. This is because he

should fight with the rich to solve problem of slaves. If he was selfish and

just strive to himself, he wouldn't try to make an emancipation of slaves,

and as the result many people still respect him as a great man. I don't

　Second of his strength is his good character. he was a man of sincerity,
　
honesty and kind. I think it's so important point in our lives. He always

his strengths. I think there are a lot of things to learn in his life. His hobby
　
was reading books. When he was young, he really liked reading books, so
　
it gave me him a vision. Actually his father was a farmer and wanted his
　
son to be a good farmer, but he didn't want to do that. I think reading books
　
let him see more of life and widen his experience. Maybe it helped him to
　
be able to stand alone, and don't just stay as a farmer. I think it's the first
　
secret of his success. Books give lessons to us and make us change.

world and have bigger vision, let's read books. I think it a matter of regret
　
that many students don't like to read books, although it is good for us. I
　
know to start is always difficult, but if you start to do that, you can be
　
changed like him.

Chuseok

　Chuseok is one of the big holidays in Korea, and it is so similar with

　

Thanks Giving Day.It is celebrated on the 15th day of the 8th month of the

　

lunar. Actually, we go to our hometown, meet our relatives, share our food,

　

and see full moon. I think Chuseok is so fruitful, because of full moon. A

　

round full moon makes it more fruitful and beautiful. Anyway, originally we

　

go our hometown, but this Chuseok I didn’t go our hometown, JinYoung.

　

This is because of my sister. Actually, I have a sister who is 18 years old

　

and Theresa Girls High School second year student. You know what,

　

Students of Korea is trained so tough, so she had to study although it’s on

　

Chuseok. We stayed at home, so we couldn't’t meet our relatives and earn

　

some money. It means when we meet our relatives, they allow us some

　

pocket money. I was so happy, Chuseok let me take a rest.

this article, because I always want to be slim, so I am so interested in

　

obese and diet. Not only that , but I though it will be serious problem. You

Actually 'diet wind' is making serious problem. For example, some one try

　

to be slim, it leads people to die. Of course it's wrong, but fatness isn't

　

good at our body, too. Fatness is a cause of many kinds of diseases, and

　

it'll block growth of children, so an increasing number of students are obese

　

and at least three our of four students has a health problem is very big

　　

problem. I think Western style eating habit makes this problem. Many

　　

people prefer fast food, because it is convenient to eat and it's special to

　

children. To solve this problem they should change their eating habit. I

　

think self-management is very important to each person, and body-

　

controlling is one of them. Maybe proper management is good for us. From

　

now on our children should change their bad eating habit and do exercise

Stumbling Blocks

　Actually there are a lot of things bothering my work. I think if I want to be

　

successful in my work, I should find the problem and solution. One of the

　

biggest problem is my laziness. I know I should study hard and

　

concentrate on my responsibility, but it is so hard to practice. Not only

　

that, but I feel tired very often, so I should sleep for a long time. I think I'm

　

poor at ithstanding sleepiness. How can I free from my laziness? I think I

　

should be time-manager. If I need more time to sleep, I could be able to

everything which I should do and I can do, then check everyday how much

　

do I success. May be it helps me to keep my work, but it isn't enough to

　

me. To continue my work, I need some boosters. May be they will be my

　

family and friends. Actually, it is easy to be tired and disappointed with the

　

result of an examination, or myself, so I need their help. My tumbling

　

blocks second reason is my friend. I think well-intentioned race with friends

　

is good for us, bcause it can push-up and help each other. It makes our will

　

stronger than when we study alone, but the problem is when I study with

　

my friend I want to talk and play with them. If I concentrate on my work,

　

may be it's okay, but it's so hard to me. To solve this problem first of all I

　

should arrange my mind and concentrate on my object, and responsibility.

　

Then we make a rule. For example, make a rule, like this. "Let's don't

　

speak anything for an hour." Then if we break a rule, someone who obey a

　

rule should be fined five- hundreds won. Most important thing in this, we

　

should be severe with each other. Actually, if I want to be successful, I

　

should practice as I thought. If I don't practice, what's the good of having a

　

good plan? Everyday I should push up by myself and fight with myself. Not

　

only that, I should remember I'm a student, so my responsibility is studying.

The Death Car

　It was a cold raining night in September. Georage and Marie were going
　
to the house of their friends to celebrate the engagement of their daughter.
　
As they drove, they listened radio warning news. It was about a murder,
　
John Downey who killed six people before arrest, escaped from hospital. It
　
was so serious, but they had another serious problem, too. Their car had
　
some problems with the carburetor, so it made George pulled the car off
　
under a large tree. Then they had to walk to the nearest house in the rain,
　
but Marie was afraid to go in the dark, because of warning news. Finally
　
she hid in the back of the car under the blanket until he came back, and
　
they made a promise. It's when he came back if he knock three times, she
